Oh how I love ruffles! And oh how I love tassels! Seriously-these trends are the best! This spring and summer is going to be filled with ruffles and tassels, so let’s start the ride here. I thought, what would be better than ruffles or tassels? Pairing them together! Too many ruffles and too many tassels can be overwhelming in an outfit, but I think that this is the perfect mix of both.
My tassel necklace is from Francesca’s. These come in several colors, but I loved the blue!
The ruffle sleeve top is from J.Crew Factory. The ruffles add such a flirty detail to an otherwise simple top. Now I do realize I mixed navy with dark blue, but I don’t think it’s too noticeable or a flaw in the outfit.
Since the top part of my outfit has a generous amount going on, I kept things simple with black pixie pants. This can dress up the outfit (or you could wear jeans to dress the outfit down)
These shoes are from J.Crew from last season. They are such a cute piece that bring some sparkle to the outfit.
I also chose to go simple with accessories: basic pearls. A touch of pink lipstick also ties the outfit together.
