You guys. This romper is everything. Seriously! After seeing this dress on several bloggers, I decided it was a must have in my closet considering it looks like a dress but is actually a romper! I love the color too- I don’t own anything like it in my closet. The shape is highly flattering as well, especially since it billows out and then has that empire-waist style with the deep V-neckline. Also- the sleeves! How can I forget about those? I love a good bell-sleeve, so that just made this romper irresistible.
I usually stay clear from rompers as I have a longer torso and shorter legs. So rompers tend to be a bit short as my torso is always longer and I don’t want to size up as the legs would be longer. (If that makes sense, please let me know- I feel like I’m the only one!) But I had no problems with this Zara piece. I sized up (medium for reference), which I recommend you do too if you have a longer torso. The last time I wore this, I used a safety pin to close up the V-neck a bit as I don’t like deep V-necks (or V-necks for that matter!) So if the neckline shies you away from the dress, don’t worry as a safety pin can cinch it up and get your desired appearance.
I’ve also teamed up with Palm Trees and Paradise on Etsy to show you how I paired their white tassel earrings with this beautiful blue ensemble. You all know tassels are one of my favorite trends (and I hope they stay around for much longer!) Heck- even if they aren’t in trend next spring, I’m still going to wear them!
Now sharing a new found love of mine, these nude scalloped heels. In love! They are incredibly comfortable and just the right height for any event. I wore them to a concert recently and they never gave me any trouble. (ps it was the Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth concert and I have not recovered. Anyone have any advice on how I can meet them and/or possibly marry them??)
Thank you all for reading! I hope you enjoy my ramblings about my favorite pieces. If you try out this romper, please let me know. I absolutely love it, and I think you will too!
As always,
