Hi besties! I’m back with another Fall trends post (courtesy of my second Tik Tok in my trend forecasting series!) The videos are posted on both my Reels on Insta and Tik Tok for your viewing pleasure, but I also like to have everything in one place on my blog for you to see! If you want to check out more fall trends for this upcoming season, click here for the first blog post I did here.
// trends to look for this fall //
black and white piping: I LOVE anything with a Chanel flare, and I think fashionistas and designers everywhere are enjoying it too. The great thing about black and white piping (or just trim on clothes in general) is that it is timeless. You can see variations of this trend in just about every decade in past 100 years. Maje has lots of great options, but more affordable pieces can be found at Abercrombie, J.Crew, Zara and even Shein.
wide leg pants: The 1970s called earlier this year and they haven’t hung up the phone yet! We are seeing these wide-leg pants redone in more fall-toned hues such as burnt orange, browns, and deep reds, as well as in geometric prints reminiscent of the 1960s and 70s as well. The Anthropologie brand “Maeve” has a TON, as well as NastyGal, Zara, and H+M.
1920s inspired dresses: They didn’t call it the Roaring 20s for nothing! As we head into our version of the Roaring 20s, you will be seeing lots of 1920s-inspired dresses and evening wear. This includes satins, silks, fringe, beaded fabrics, muted colors, and even drop and empire waists. I love it! Time to watch The Great Gatsby again!
Don’t forget to check out part one of my Fall 2021 trends here!
xoxo,
Madison
