With spring making its arrival, I wanted to bring out the ruffles for this photo. I picked up some pretty pink roses on the way to shoot this outfit, which is where I got the title “Pops of Pink”
This ruffle off the shoulder top is from Francesca’s, and I think it’s the perfect top this spring because it features two trends! It also comes in a blue shade which would look lovely with white pants and sandals.
I wanted all the focus to be on this top, so I decided to wear pixie pants to accent the black stripes on the ruffle.
As for shoes I think this outfit calls for some nude flats. These are from Target!
Because I was feeling very Blair Waldorf in this ensemble, I felt that a headband was needed. This is my favorite headband from Etsy.
And I can’t finish this post without talking about another pop of pink- my lipstick! I lined my lips with Tarte’s Tarteist lip crayon in “Turnt Up”. Then I applied an old favorite, Clinique’s Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony.
Have you noticed the amazing quality of these photos? That’s all thanks to a friend of mine who offered to take pics for my blog so she can work on her photography business! She took my senior photos back in the fall if you want to see some of her work here. I absolutely love her work because she has such a unique style that enhances your beauty. If you are interested in her photography and live in the East Tennessee area, contact her at synayrenee@gmail.com. She is working on her website right now but when it is up I will let you all know!
Thank you all for reading! Go buy yourself a bouquet of flowers and enjoy the little pleasures spring brings and wear pops of pink to celebrate spring.
As always,
